A Digital Future for Gausdal

Over the past year, BraCom has been working on a major fiber expansion project for GlobalConnect in Gausdal, specifically in the area between Fåberg and Svingvoll. With the aim of connecting more than 1,000 homes, the project is an important step in strengthening the region’s digital infrastructure.

More than 100 kilometres of fiber routes have been installed using a range of construction methods, including ploughing, conventional excavation, microtrenching, milling and overhead installation on utility poles.

The cooperation between BraCom and TT Kabel & Anlegg AS has been essential in maintaining both efficiency and quality throughout the project. The municipality and Innlandet County Municipality have also played an important role in supporting progress along the way.

The project is now nearing completion, bringing Gausdal one step closer to stronger connectivity and a more robust digital infrastructure for its residents.
