Strategic infrastructure investment in Mainz

The Mainz-Weisenau fibrenet is a part of OXGs comprehensive expansion in the area.

The goal is to connect tens of thousands of households in Mainz with modern fibrenet technology. That way, the existing copper network can be replaced gradually.

This technology is called FTTH and it offers a future proof digital infrastructure, with gigabyte-speed which meets steadily increasing demands on data transfer.

BraCom is key to the rollout.

Our responsibilities include:

• Planning and coordination of the construction
• Delivery of digging and trench work
• Installing fibrenet – backbone and distribution networks
• Installation in the buildings
• Compliance with all quality, safety and municipal requirements
